Who this covers
Elysium Quest is a learning platform for students aged 8–18, used with parent or school consent. Because children under 13 may use the platform, we follow the spirit and requirements of the U.S. Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and similar state laws.
What we collect
Account info — display name, avatar, email of the parent or school account that created the student profile.
Learning activity — quests started and completed, answers submitted, XP and streak progress.
Tutor conversations — messages between the student and the AI tutor, used to help the student and improve safety filters.
Technical data — device type, browser, and basic analytics needed to keep the service running.
What we do NOT do
We do not sell student data.
We do not show third-party advertising to students.
We do not use student work to train third-party AI models without consent.
We do not require more personal information than is needed to run the learning experience.
Parent & school rights
Parents and schools can request a copy of their child's data, request deletion, or withdraw consent at any time by emailing info@elysiumschool.org. We will respond within 30 days.
AI tutor & content safety
Tutor responses are filtered for age-appropriate content. Conversations are retained for safety review and to help the tutor recall context inside a learning session. Parents can request a transcript of their child's tutor sessions.
Data storage & security
Data is stored on our backend provider with row-level access controls so a student's records are visible only to that student, their parent or school account, and Elysium Quest staff acting in a support capacity.
Changes to this policy
We will post material changes here and notify the parent or school email of record before they take effect. This is an early-access policy and will continue to mature as the product grows; questions and feedback are welcome.
